Welcome to Taiwan Treks Nepal. These Terms and Conditions govern your relationship with us and outline the obligations and responsibilities of both our company and you, the client. By booking any tour, trek, or service with Taiwan Treks Nepal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of the terms listed below. These terms are designed to ensure clarity, safety, and mutual respect throughout your journey with us.
All bookings made with Taiwan Treks Nepal are subject to availability and are not confirmed until a written confirmation is issued by our team. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion. To confirm your booking, a deposit (typically 20% to 30% of the total trip cost) must be paid at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred to a future trip under certain conditions. The remaining balance is usually required before the trip begins, as specified in your booking details. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation.
All clients must hold valid passports, visas, permits, and any other necessary documents required for travel in Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibet. Taiwan Treks Nepal can assist with visa information, but it is ultimately the client’s responsibility to ensure compliance with immigration laws. We recommend checking visa requirements well in advance of your travel dates.
Trip prices are based on the costs and exchange rates at the time of booking. While we strive to keep our prices fixed, we reserve the right to adjust costs in response to significant changes in local service prices, taxes, permits, or currency fluctuations. If any such adjustment occurs, we will inform you as early as possible. Once full payment is received, no further changes to the trip price will be made.
Cancellations made by the client must be submitted in writing. If a client cancels more than 30 days before the trip, only the deposit will be retained. For cancellations within 30 days of the departure date, partial or full cancellation fees may apply. No refunds are made for unused services, meals, or accommodations once the trip has begun. In cases of cancellation due to unforeseen personal or medical emergencies, we may allow date transfers or partial credits, depending on the circumstances and service providers involved.
Taiwan Treks Nepal reserves the right to cancel or modify any trip due to weather conditions, natural disasters, political instability, government regulations, or other events beyond our control. In such cases, we will offer alternative arrangements or provide credit for a future trip. If no alternative is acceptable to the client, a partial refund may be provided after deducting administrative and third-party costs.
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, theft, loss of baggage, and other travel-related risks. Travel in remote areas involves a certain level of risk, and having insurance gives you peace of mind and financial protection.
While we prioritize safety at every step, you acknowledge that adventure travel and high-altitude trekking carry inherent risks. By joining any trip with Taiwan Treks Nepal, you accept these risks and agree not to hold our company, staff, or affiliates liable for accidents, injuries, illnesses, or delays that may occur during the trip. We do not accept responsibility for losses due to theft, missed flights, or other disruptions caused by third-party services or unforeseen circumstances.
Clients are expected to behave respectfully toward guides, staff, locals, and fellow travelers. We reserve the right to remove any individual from a tour if their behavior is deemed dangerous, disruptive, or disrespectful. No refunds will be issued in such cases. We expect all participants to follow local laws, cultural norms, and environmental practices during their trip.

If you have a complaint or concern during your trip, please report it immediately to your guide or tour leader so we can address it on the spot. We welcome feedback and strive to continuously improve our services. Any post-trip concerns should be submitted in writing within 15 days of trip completion for proper review and response.
