In the Himalayan region, flight delays or cancellations—especially to and from remote areas like Lukla, Jomsom, or Simikot—are often caused by unpredictable weather conditions, air traffic restrictions, or operational issues. While we do not operate the flights directly, we work closely with trusted airlines and monitor schedules closely to keep you updated in real time. If your flight is cancelled, we will assist you in rebooking the earliest available option or provide alternative solutions such as helicopter services (additional cost may apply) if you're on a tight schedule. We advise all our guests to keep buffer days in their itinerary to accommodate possible delays and to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers flight cancellations, trip interruptions, and unexpected expenses. Refunds for cancelled flights are subject to the airline's policy, and while we will facilitate communication, Taiwan Trek Nepal cannot guarantee full refunds for airline disruptions. In the event of cancellation, we also help with necessary logistical support, such as extending hotel bookings or adjusting your tour schedule wherever possible. Our team is available 24/7 during your travel period to provide help and solutions. We strongly encourage you to stay flexible, informed, and patient when traveling in the mountains, where nature can change plans in moments. With proper planning and our experienced guidance, we ensure your Nepal adventure remains memorable—even if your journey takes a few unexpected turns.
